Converse Screened Reverse

(1969-1977)

 

Keeping in line with what was being used by the NHL and the WHL, a Converse screened back puck was issued for the AHL. In addition to this, a screened back Professional' back was issued for the Richmond Robins. Not all teams of this era of the AHL had Converse pucks. Most front logos were done in full color rubber cresting, however a couple of pucks were issued with simple screened front logos. The Converse Rubber Company ceased operations in 1977.
