At best, this set can be considered unlicensed product. At worst, they are outright fakes. What makes this set a concern is that cresting was done for teams that had already been defunct. This was an attempt to rip off collectors. There are similar sets done for the AHL and CHL. The same person is likely responsible for making the fake WHA set and a few fake NHL pucks.
